Regular Season Round 3: Igokea - Krka 87-71

There was a minor upset in Aleksandrovac where SlovenianKrka (0-3) was defeated by Bosnian Igokea (2-0) 87-71 on Saturday. Igokea made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Serbian power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (204-1993, college: USC, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian-Bosnian power forward Nikola Popovic (211-1997, college: Boston Coll.) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Igokea players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Sukhmail Mathon (208-1998, college: Boston U.) with 14 points and guard Jan Rebec (192-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
